Privacy policy

How I process the personal data you leave with me: what I collect, why, how long I keep it, who I share it with and what rights you have. In short: I ask only for what I need to work with you and I do not pass it on for marketing purposes.

1. Who I am and how to reach me

The data controller is Tîrsan Cristian Ionuț Întreprindere Individuală (the liquidcolors / TIRSAN brand), CUI 24162549, ONRC no. F08/798/2008, with its registered office at Str. 2. What data I collect

I collect only the data you give me through forms and the strictly technical data needed for the site to work:

  • from the contact form: name, email, the subject of the request, your message and, optionally, an attached file;
  • from the consultation form and the configurator: name, company name, email, phone, project details and the files you upload (logo, texts, images, links to existing sites);
  • technical data: the IP address and log information saved automatically by the server, for operation and security;
  • anonymous, aggregated usage statistics, collected without cookies through Umami (pages visited, the source of the visit, device and browser type, country). These contain no data that identifies you.

I do not ask you for sensitive data and I do not collect more than is needed to reply to you.

3. Why I use it and on what basis

I use the data from forms to contact you back, to prepare an offer or an estimate and to see the project through, on the basis of the pre-contractual steps you request and of your consent (art. 6 (1) (b) and (a) GDPR). The technical data and the anonymous statistics I process on the basis of my legitimate interest in keeping the site safe, functional and in improving it (art. 6 (1) (f)). If we end up working together, processing for the project is based on the contract. I do not use it for advertising and I do not pass it on for marketing purposes.

4. How long I keep it

I keep the data from a request for as long as I need to reply to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of the collaboration and the obligations arising from it. If a request does not lead to a collaboration, I delete it after 6 months. Documents with an accounting or tax role I keep for as long as the law requires.

5. Who I share it with and where it goes

I do not sell the data and do not make it public. It can be accessed only by the providers the site depends on, as data processors: hosting, Space Ro SRL (spatiul.ro), on whose servers in Iași, Romania the site and the messages received are stored; the domain registrar; and Umami (Umami Software, Inc.), for the anonymous statistics, on infrastructure in the EU. Google Fonts and the SortableJS library in the configurator (delivered through jsDelivr) receive your IP address on load, like any resource served from outside the site, and may involve transfers outside the EU, made on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses). Otherwise, the data stays in the European Union.

6. Cookies and statistics

The site does not use cookies. For statistics I use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool with no cross-site tracking: it stores nothing in your browser and collects no data that identifies you. The statistics are anonymous and aggregated (visits, pages, source, device, browser, country) and stay on Umami's infrastructure in the EU. That is why I do not show you a cookie banner. If you still want extra control, you can block scripts from your browser settings.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (without this affecting earlier processing). To exercise them, write to me at hello@liquidcolors.ro and I reply within the timelines required by law. I do not make automated decisions with an effect on you and I do not profile you: the configurator's estimate only sums up the options you tick. If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can also turn to the data protection supervisory authority.
